As we reach the end of Women’s History Month, TVSquared is excited to spotlight two more women who make a positive difference at our company each day:
Esther Mármol-Queraltó, Data Scientist
What excites you the most about working in TV measurement and working at TVSquared? “Measuring TV performance, and doing it well, is challenging and I am always up for a good challenge! It is very exciting to be part of this incredible team, which is pushing the boundaries to get the best insights from TV advertising. I find that people in TVSquared are truly brilliant in what they do, plus it is one of the nicest places I have ever worked, so the challenge gets much easier working in such a great company.”
What’s your best piece of advice for young girls and other women when it comes to gender equality and diversity, overall, in the workplace? “A dream team is made up of people which are complementary to each other rather than copies, so don’t be shy and show how you can shine and help your colleagues shine along with you, independently of gender or any other characteristic. Be yourself, celebrate your differences as well as celebrate other’s differences and together go the extra mile which will make you feel proud of what you do.”
Who or what inspires you most? “People around me, with their own areas of expertise, are a constant source of inspiration to either try new things or improve on something we have been working on. Due to my background as a research scientist, curiosity is what motivates me the most; there are always new questions to be answered and I have always found it stimulating to work towards unravelling them.”

What excites you the most about working in TV measurement and working at TVSquared? “As someone with a lifelong passion for TV, it’s thrilling to work at a company that’s truly leading the way in the TV revolution and empowering all sides of the business to win.”
What’s your best piece of advice for young girls and other women when it comes to gender equality and diversity, overall, in the workplace? “Speak up and don’t give anyone the power to silence you. Too often women don’t share their opinions or begin sentences with an unnecessary ‘sorry’ or ‘this might be a dumb comment/question, but…’ Enough! Embrace your voice and be confident in yourself.”
Who or what inspires you most? “Aside from my parents and grandparents, as well as amazing trailblazers of history like Anne Boleyn, I’m inspired by those who work hard to achieve their goals without compromising on their own authenticity and what makes them unique as an individual. Meanwhile, the ‘what’ that drives me is the potential to make a positive difference in the world and pushing myself forward—whether this means taking on a new project at work or reaching a new milestone in my running.”
